Drinking with hot water: Benefits and side effects - A Complete Guide

A glass of hot water

Hii friends!  Today we will talk about a topic which is related to the daily life of all of us - bathing with hot water.  Do you also wake up in the morning or look forward to a relaxing hot shower after returning from office?  Or does taking a bath with hot water in the winter season feel like heaven to you?  So today's post is for you only!  Dr.  With the help of Hansaji Yogendra, today we will understand what are the benefits and disadvantages of bathing with hot water.  Because friends, everything has two aspects, and it is similar here too.  So let's explore this interesting topic a little more deeply and see what is best for you.

Benefits of bathing with hot water: what is special about it?

1. Say goodbye to tension

Imagine you come home after a stressful day and take a warm shower.  How do you feel?  Totally relaxing, isn't it?  Hot water relaxes the muscles and relieves the accumulated tension.

 2. Bathing with warm

Bathing with warm water not only calms the body but also calms the mind.  It helps to relax the nervous system.

3. Soothes feet

Soaking tired feet in warm water for a while is very rejuvenating.  This gives you a new enthusiasm.

4. Magic of Hot Springs

Bathing in hot springs is even more beneficial.  It contains minerals like magnesium, potassium, and boron that strengthen muscles, improve circulation, and deliver oxygen to every cell.

Disadvantages of bathing with hot water: What is the hidden danger?

1. Damage to skin cells

Regular hot showers can damage the keratin cells of the skin.  These cells form the outer layer of the skin which preserves moisture.

 2. Dry skin pain

Hot water removes the natural oils from the skin, due to which the skin becomes dry and itchy.  Especially in the winter season this problem becomes even worse.

3. Problem of pores

Hot water opens up the pores, in which dirt and pollutants can enter.  This can cause acne.

4. Increase in blood pressure

Patients of high blood pressure or hypertension should avoid bathing with hot water.  This can increase blood pressure further.

5. Burning and red skin

Excessive hot water can cause the skin to burn and turn red.  This disturbs the healing process of the skin.

What is the perfect solution? Cold or Gangetic Water!

Friends, the real hero is cold water!  But when I say cold, it means a little lower than your body temperature.  When you pour water on your body, it neither feels too hot nor too cold.  This is the perfect temperature.

Benefits of cold water:

1. Boosts the immune system

2. Increases the number of white blood cells

3. Protects the skin

Magic of cold water:

1. Cleans pores

2. Removes dead skin cells  removes

3. maintains overall hygiene

Some important tips you should remember

1. Taking bath once a day is enough.  Bathing too often can damage the skin.

2. Check the temperature of the water.  44 degrees Celsius or any temperature less than that is perfect.

3. If there is pain in the joints, first use hot water, then cold water, and finally use water of normal temperature.

 4. Relax for 15-30 minutes after bathing.  Taking bath and having breakfast early is not good for health.

5. Adjust the water temperature according to the weather.  A little cold in summer, a little warm in winter.

So friends, this was the whole story of bathing with hot water.  Remember, balance is very important.  Neither too hot nor too cold - just perfect!  Listen to your body, understand its needs, and choose the way of bathing accordingly.

And yes, taking a bath is not just for the sake of cleanliness, rather it should be a relaxing experience.  So, enjoy your bath time, and take care of your health.  Because when you are healthy, only then you will be able to have fun in life!

I hope this information will be helpful for you.  Please share these tips with your friends and family.  Stay healthy, stay happy!  Namaste!
