7 common mistakes in bathing

7 common mistakes in bathing: Do you also make these mistakes?

Today we will talk about one such thing which we do everyday, but probably don't do it properly - bathing!  Yes, you heard it right.  Bathing is not just about getting wet in water.  This is an art which is very important for both our health and mind.

In Yoga Shastra, bathing has been described as a beautiful process.  But today's modern lifestyle has spoiled this process a bit.  Today we are Dr.  With the help of Hansaji Yogendra, we will know about 7 common mistakes which people often make while taking bath.  So let's start!

7 common mistakes that you should not make while bathing

1. Wrong use of hot water

Whether it is winter or summer, bathing with hot water feels very relaxing, isn't it?  But wait a bit!  Hot water removes the natural oils from your skin.  This can make your skin dry and itchy.

 What to do:

  • Do not bathe with room temperature water
  • If you are elderly or have any health issue, you can use lukewarm water
  • Bathing in the morning at the time of sunrise is the best

2. Apply soap on the whole body

Very good  These people apply soap on their entire body.  But do you know that some strong soaps can also kill good bacteria?  Due to this, bad bacteria can grow and your skin can become dry.

 What to do:

  • Use mild soap
  • Apply soap only on some specific areas, like underarms and groin area
  • Massage the rest of the body with water only

3. Wash hair daily

Washing hair daily is not necessary.  This removes the natural oil from your scalp, which protects your hair.

 What to do:

  • Make a schedule for washing hair according to your hair type and lifestyle
  • If washing hair daily is necessary, then use natural soap or only water
  • You can use coconut oil, especially in summer

4. Bathroom  I take too much showers

Long showers feel relaxing, but they are not good for your skin.  This removes the essential oils from the skin and the skin can become dry.

 What to do:

  • Keep bathing time less than 10 minutes
  • Can bathe twice a day - during sunrise and sunset

5. Ignoring the pair's soles

Many people forget to wash the pair's soles.  But remember, this is the place which is the dirtiest and smelliest.

 What to do:

  • Wash your feet thoroughly, including the upper, lower and sides
  • Remove dead skin cells using a foot scrubber or stone
  • This step is very important to avoid infection

6. Take a bath immediately after eating

Eat Taking bath immediately after eating can disturb your digestion.  Our body produces heat to digest food, and taking bath slows down this process.

 What to do:

Do not bathe 2 hours after eating or else, take a bath before eating.  This will make you feel refreshed and your digestion will also be better

7. Bathing immediately after workout

Bathing immediately after exercise is not good.  This can cause problems in bringing your body to normal temperature.

 What to do:

  • Cool down for 20 minutes after workout
  • Do gentle stretches and drink water
  • Take a bath when you stop sweating
  • Bathing before yoga is more beneficial

Conclusion:

Friends, bathing is just a way to clean the body  it is not there.  This is a complete process which refreshes both your body and mind.  Remember, it is as important to be clean from outside as it is from inside.

After bathing, sit quietly for 10 minutes, meditate or pray.  This will also clear your mind and you will feel confident.

Try following these tips and see how different and refreshing you find the experience of bathing.  And yes, definitely share these tips with your friends and family.  Because when we all adopt healthy habits together, only then we will be able to create a healthy society.
